If Alix can say one thing about her session, she can say it was done while we were experiencing the Total Solar Eclipse. So that is something that can never be taken from her. We shot around the steel stacks during the eclipse and though we could feel a bit of a temp drop and a little darkness, we didn't get the full totality that some of the country saw. It was still cool to be apart of this occasion though. She rocked her set and after a few min the nerves were gone and she just relaxed and had fun. Because in the end, that is what is all about. I am so excited for what the future holds for her and I am so glad to have been asked to photograph such a cool time in her life. Enjoy the set!
We start off this week with a little High School Senior session. I have known Grace since she was 4 years old. Sure, I have watched her grow up through family functions and so on, but to be photographing for what will be her High School graduation photos was something special for me. We did our best to not get her mom too teary eyed. We walked Jacobsburg Park grounds and tried our best to keep it lively and fun in the heat. I think we succeeded in all areas today and below is a small glimpse into the huge portfolio they will be getting. Congrats to you Grace in all your successes so far and I hope you have an amazing Senior year! Enjoy the teaser.
As the Summer starts to wind down a bit, I am so excited to get a few more Engagement sessions in before the sun no longer stays out late. I have known Dan since he was 8 or 9, so the fact that I am shooting his wedding next year is quite surreal. Brooke is just the most down to earth girl I have met and seeing how she makes Dan so happy is just the coolest thing ever. She found this amazing Sunflower field in Elverson, PA. I made the trek down last night for a little sunset session and it didn't disappoint. The chemistry between these two was spot on and the light was insane. We will get some more E2 practice next week for round 2. However, this is just a glimpse of what went down yesterday. Congrats you two. I'll see you on the news tonight perhaps from our run in with Fox 29. Laterz
