Disclaimer: This post will likely cause lots of happy squeals, major anticipation for June 2012 and finally goosebumps for us Phillies fans out there.
I was like a little kid today. My friends participating in this sort of engagement recess were Mike and Lauren. It started with my heart pumping extremely fast outside the venue. I then got major jitters and I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face as we walked inside. It then went like this…we walked through Citizens Bank Park tunnel, went past the media room, I watched Mike and Lauren hold Jimmy’s bat in the cage (what????), we stopped at the locker room and looked at some of our favorite players and then finally watching our guide, Kelly, open the double doors to the Phillies dugout ( yes the freakin dugout ) the jumping up and down began by all involved. It was a vision I will never forget…ever! To describe it would be impossible. All I can tell you is that if your a fan, regardless of how big, you will be left breathless. Lauren and I talked prior to the E2 today and we talked about the game-plan. We would shoot a little bit at the park to gauge and scout the surroundings and then use the rest of the day to shoot around the city. Why such a short time at the ball park? Well…They are having their reception there, so we have to keep some things a secret until then. I know, I know, why not take advantage? It was very hard, trust me. However, once we get the whole wedding party involved, we are going to be unveiling madness unlike anything every before seen on this site. We did get a shot with The Santa Phanatic and we did meet one of the Phillies commentators, Chris ” Wheels” Wheeler. So we did have an eventful morning.
We did take a brief intermission and grab some much needed food and brew and that allowed us to talk and laugh and prep for round two. We hit up South St. and City Hall and by then, with some coffee to keep us warm, we headed home with the city lit up for the season guiding our way. I really can’t thank Mike and Lauren enough. They are just the kindest of souls. I really enjoyed spending time with them. And if the previews i shared during the session were any indication, they will be going nuts over the rest of these. June really can’t come soon enough and with 3 photographers and 2 videographers side by side. It won’t just be a wedding, it is going to be an epic event starting the Summer off right! So thank you for today. Stayed tuned for a special E2 video brought to you by stayseeproductions. You Rock Stacey & Joe!! In the meantime, here is your same day edit Mike and Lauren. Bam!
