As I left tonight, after spending all day with Holly and Adam…I wanted to shake things up a bit.  This particular weekend is a bit hectic for me, but at the same time, I knew Holly & Adam would be leaving on their honeymoon soon too.  So, I have decided to make their wedding post into two parts.  Part One is prep and group locations.  The pics end right up to the ceremony.  The remaining parts will come Sunday or first thing Monday.  I wanted them to see everything, but anticipation is good too  So I hope you guys wake up to some excitement.  I loved spending time with you and your friends and family.  You throw one helluva party.  We laughed, we cried and we made some fantastic images together.  Thanks so much from the bottom of my heart.  Have a great honeymoon!

Their story is one of the books and cinema.  Star crossed love across 5000 miles that took them everywhere from Paris, D.C and ended in Philadelphia.  It is a story with a promise.  To love each other until the end of time.  With family and friends present, Celine and Jeff solidified their story at The Valley Green Inn in Philadelphia.  It was magical, it was beautiful and it was unforgettable.  The pictures only the truth.  And the truth is that love conquers all and beauty and art can be found in even the smallest of places.  Much love to both Celine and Jeff for letting me be a part of such a magical time in their lives.  It is a bit past 24 hours since I left them, but I think they will enjoy this.  To Jeff’s family, thanks for the positive energy and laughter and high fives throughout the night.  I enjoyed meeting all of you and your compliments mean the world.  To Celine’s parents, Ce fut un plaisir de vous rencontrer à la fois. Bien que nous ayons boundries vocales uns avec les autres, je pense que les photos seront tout dire. N’avez-vous pas d’accord?Coffre-fort à domicile voyages et merci beaucoup pour toute votre gentillesse et degénérosité.

Though Kelly and Chad have been married for over a year now, it did not stop them from having one heck of a party celebrating their union and being able to spend time with family and friends. It was a wonderful day spent with two amazing individuals who love each other so much, one can’t help but get sucked into their energy and emotion. The pictures below tell the tale. What a lovely tale it is. Kelly and Chad, you guys are both so wonderful. Thanks for letting me share in the festivities.

This written section will be short because there is a lot of photos to show.  All I will say is this.  The journey I had with Justin and Elissa was simply amazing.  The venue was perfect, the weather was perfect.  The family and friends and atmosphere…Perfect.  After 26 hours of driving, nearly 14 hours of shooting.  The weekend was a blur of photographic sweetness. It was crazy, hilarious, emotional and unforgettable.  This post is epic because  Justin and Elissa deserve nothing less.  Enjoy.

These are some of my favorite sessions to do.  It’s a simple setup really.  You take a 1 year old, dress them up, get them a cake and let them go… The rest is photographic epicness at it’s finest.  Also, its funny and messy, which rocks too!  Alana had a lot to live up to.  Her older sister, Georgia, had her’s almost 2 years ago.  Her session alone caused a major refocus on how my clients handle their child’s 1st birthday.  It was an explosion of requests for what I call, “Cake Mashing”.  Since Georgia, I have done 9 cake mashing shoots.  Each one different, but the results are amazing.  Alana’s session was eerily similar to her sisters, but she attacked the cake quicker, ate more of it and cried a lot longer.  Both are incredible examples of how a 1 year old should eat cake.  The banana nut  and the butter cream icing just filled the air with a delightful smell.  But, their dining room floor got hammered too.  It was awesome.  So without further ado.  Here’s the first “cake mashing” of the year.  Kate and Brad…always love our time together.  Georgia, thanks for sharing some green ice cream with me Alana, Happy Birthday kiddo!

With the Summer coming upon us and the warm weather finally staying a bit consistent, it was time to finally do my final session of Julianna in her 1 year story of photos.  I will say with full sincerity, she was one of the best babies I have photographed.  She was happy and was giggly and she was so easy to photograph, it blew my mind. Out of the 4 sessions I have had with her, she rocked the finale.  She is getting so big and she is looks more and more like her mom every time I see her.  She is only one, but she will be a big sister come August, when her little brother comes into the world. I look forward to seeing the family grow and watching her personality continue to make me smile. Enjoy your same day edit guys!

When I was asked by Victor and Mayra’s daughter, Otilia, to shoot their surprise 27 yr anniversary party, it wasn’t even a question of yes or no.  I have been a part of so many moments with this family since their daughters wedding 3 ago, I would not of missed it for the world.  The event took place at Bravo’s at the LV Mall.  A small group of family and friends attended the event.  Victor helped plan, but Mayra had no idea until the doors opened and we all yelled, “SURPRISE”.  It was a wonderful moment filled with laughter and tears and a new wedding ring 27 years later to go with it.  The food was amazing and the company was equally as wonderful.  It felt to me like a reunion of sorts and it was a perfect way to cap my weekend.  It’s always good to be surrounded by family and they have embraced me as their own for years and I look forward to many more moments.  Here are the photos from the night.  Enjoy and Congrats you two! I hope when Adam and Catalina start to preview their wedding teaser they don’t say to themselves, “what is included?”, but “what wasn’t included”?  I pride myself on telling couples wedding stories in pictures.  That is what I love to do.  And sometimes that takes just a few pictures to do that.  Is that really a bad thing? There was so much love, happiness and family and friends surrounding them yesterday, you could not help, but get sucked into their world and laugh and cry with them.  Just an epic start to the wedding season of 2012!  They amazed me with their energy.  They didn’t stop.  The whole day.  Awesome.  Many thanks to Joe, my partner on the front lines for some great images and hanging out for the day.  The cool breeze at the end of the day was just what we needed.  We were 110% all day.  Thanks also to the Barristers Club in Allentown and Simply Smooth Caterers.  Adam and Catalina are currently on their way to Mexico.  They assured me they will have wi-fi, so I hope this finds them safe and with as much excitement as they showed me yesterday.  They both are incredible people.  I enjoyed all my moments with them and I hope you enjoy their story.  Have a good night everyone.

Words really can’t describe the fun I had today hanging out with Nicky & Ryan.  I mean, really, when your at the beach with friends, does it get any better?  My arrival at Point Pleasant Beach, NJ was met with some typical traffic, a cool breeze and some wind that seemed to never go away.  However, it did not stop the fun and antics of the three of us creating some killer photos today.  We walked the boardwalk, hit up the beach and finally visited their ceremony location that has a view to die for.  Sadly, you won’t see those until September. They treated me to some Stewarts Restaurant food to end our journey and then we parted ways.  I am glad I ate so much because my typical 2 hour trek home, turned into 3.5 hours due to an accident on the turnpike.  Fortunately, the accident did not include me this time.  So below is the highlights from the afternoon.  Did I mention it was a same day edit?

Nicky & Ryan, you guys are so ridiculously cute, it’s insane.  I loved every minute and you guys rocked your session today.  Can’t wait to see you guys again! Enjoy
